Spain offers specific residence routes for foreign entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneurs Act (Act 14/2013) and the Startups Act (Act 28/2022). These rules are designed to attract talent, offering faster procedures and more favourable conditions.
Entrepreneur visa
For those wishing to start an innovative business activity of particular economic interest to Spain. A favourable report from the Economic and Commercial Office or from ENISA is required, certifying the value of the project. The assessment considers innovation, the entrepreneur's professional profile and the business plan.
The Startups Act
Act 28/2022 introduces additional benefits for entrepreneurs: a reduced corporate tax rate (15%), an extended regime for inbound workers (the so-called Beckham Act), digital nomad visas and measures to make attracting international talent easier.
